Shopping for a good set of insoles for my work boots. Boots are great, but I could use some cushion for the pushin. I’m sure I can buy some generic gel soles, but wanted to see if anyone had good experience with a certain brand. I’m on my feet 90% of the day walking around the plant. Great for my step counter, not great on the feet.

Toby and Ultimate Warrior for your time.

I’m guessing they won’t let you use the fancy new hardtoe sneakers? I’d tell you what gel soles I was using a couple years ago for doing some workboot level work, but I can’t remember the name, and I’m not sure how far they were from “generic”. Worked pretty good, though.

Those sneakers are allowed. I just don’t need to buy new shoes yet. I can make these current boots last another 3 years. Just needs some cushion.

I’ve always been a fan of superfeet. They make a variety of shapes and sizes to help with a much better fit. I have high arches and narrow heals so I use the green ones in my work boots and hiking boots. I’ve never tried the ones they sell in walgreens like dr. scholes, they look really soft and like they would die and breakdown very quickly.

I like superfeet really well. A little pricey, but very well made and very comfortable. They have a lot of options based on arch, use, etc.

I have been shopping around for some for my snowboard boots, so these are more specific to that but I’m not sure how much of a difference they make across sports and work. The brands I have been looking at are Shred Soles and Remind insoles. No real insight but it’s something to look at
